Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for McDan Aviation, Daniel McKorley is worried that the youth in Ghana love to sleep.
He says there is a lot of money in the country that the youth can grab but they do not see the opportunities around them and that is very worrying.
“The youth of these days sleep too much and that is the problem. We have been treated with kid gloves in this country especially, the youth,” he said on Accra-based Joy FM.
He continued, this country is becoming a begging nation and we have to get rid of that. There are so many opportunities out there and so many things the youth can do but they need to take a step higher.
We need to know that manner will not fall from heaven. You need to make a step before you can make it. So too much money around the system but the youth are confused on how to grab those opportunities. There are times they tend to look at the wrong angles and it’s a problem,” he said.
