We’re increasing the price of Bibles due to inflation – Bible Society of Ghana

The Bible Society of Ghana has issued public notice to the effect that they are increasing the prices of Bibles sold by their outfit. The notice said the slight increase will take effective on November, 10, 2022 due to high import duty and inflation.

“Due to the high rate of inflation and high cost of clearing [goods] from the ports, our prices of Bibles would be slightly reviewed upwards, effective 10th November, 2022. God bless you for your understanding, “the notice said.

The Bible Society of Ghana, whose main aim is to make the word of God available and affordable, is a main distributor of Bibles in the country, and are known to sell at very affordable prices which they hardly review upwards,.

The current economic crisis has led to many persons being unable to afford things that were hitherto within their reach.
