Volta Waste Limited projecting Agenda 1 Million Bins

The Volta Waste Limited is projecting an agenda to see the company provide 1 million bin to Volta and Oti region.

 

The waste Limited is one of the Regional subsidiaries of zoom lion Ghana Limited and a member of the environment and sanitation group is providing each household with a bin.

The company was Registered under the companies Act 1963 to commence business in 2014.

 

Their services are in the 27 Municipal and District Assemblies in both Volta and Oti regions.

The main aim of Volta Waste Limited is to reduce waste management in these two regions and also want to go the cashless payment process.

 

This project is also mainly focusing on providing each household with a bin,to aslo do the new and advance forms of logistics and to provide job opportunities in our communities for the young ones.

Mr. Denyo Solomon,the Managing Director, Volta Waste Limited,said the intention of the project is to trap every Waste that is generating from homes, offices, Churches and send them to the appropriate area for treatment to generate organic compose.

Mr. Denyo Solomon said, Zoom lion conducted a study some years back and realized that the company has invested into the environmental sanitation and was not getting the results they wanted,so call for the one Million Bin project.

He added that,after treatment of the organic waste that were trapped from the Waste management,the recidiuos will be sent to Engineer land filed site which will help solve fertilizer issues problems in the Areas.

He asked every Ghanaian to support the project because it is a very good initiative. He said these in an engagement with the Media in Ho.

The participants were later taken to the Engineer Land field site at Agbeve where the waste management will be treated.
