Deputy General Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Obiri Boahen has congratulated NDC on its 30th anniversary.
But Lawyer Obiri Boahen was quick to advise the National Chairman for the NDC, Elder Ofosu Ampofo to stop comparing the NDC to NPP.
Talking to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he said Ofosu Ampofo can compare the NDC to the other parties and not the UGCC, UP, PP, NLM and the NPP.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen stated that the achievement of former President John Kuffour and Akufo-Addo- Dr Bawumia are remarkable and cannot be quantified.
He stressed that the ruling NPP is the democratic party.
The NPP Deputy General Secretary said it is a falsehood the late Jerry John Rawlings introduced democracy in Ghana.
He noted that the passport the NDC members had to drive the party forward was the era of Prof John Evans Mills of blessed memory and the early part of the late Jerry John Rawlings regime.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen jabbed that the rest of the NDC era turned to create, loot and share.
