[Video] Invest in your ward’s education like any other business you own – Education Director to Ghanaians

The district education director of Nkwanta North, Madam Janet Emefa Banibensu has urged all parents in the district to invest massively in their children’s education like any other businesses they own.

 

Speaking at the district Reading Festival in the district capital Kpassa on the theme: LEARN TO READ, READ TO LEARN, she explained the basics and fundamentals of the children will determine the future of them and the country.

The Reading Festival organized by the Nkwanta North District and USIAD Learning, brought together8 circuits within the district to compete to represent the district at the regional Leave.

Madam Emefa assured the public good strategies in her pipeline that will improve the academic performance of students in the district.

 

The District chief executive for Nkwanta North, Hon William Nawugma pledged his support to the education director as she’s on top to changing the face of education in the district.

He said the performance of candidates, who scored between good aggregate in last year’s BECE results was highly commendable and praised the teachers for their commitment to improving the quality of education in the district.

He said the Assembly would continue to work with all stakeholders to improve education delivery, especially in science, mathematics and technology.

 

He charged parents to support in coaching their children, help provide them with their basic needs, “I’ll reshape education in this district before I leave office,” he added.

 

Some teachers present also thanked USAID LEARNING for their support, adding that government should also invest into Programs that will build the abilities of the basic children.
