The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho, Yaw Danso has rendered an unqualified apology over the unguarded utterance.
In an interview that sought his reaction to some Assembly Members seeking his removal from office, he retorted to the Journalist, “If they can’t find me, I am dead”.
Assembly Members of the District have complained bitterly about the absence of the DCE and allegedly halting government business in the district.
Concerning this, in a Press Release and video captured by Wontumionline.com, the Bosome Freho DCE presumed that the conversation was off-record so he made a joke which has turned out to be an expensive one.
“Notwithstanding, I unreservedly apologize for saying “tell them I am dead” and plead with Nananom from Bosome Freho, my distinguished Assembly Members, the good people of Bosome Freho and Ghanaians to pardon me for my goof.” part of the release reads.
