The University Relations Officer (URO)of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Norris Bekoe has revealed that the university authorities have received a call from the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) indicating their readiness to offer the disgruntled students facilities to pay their fees.
In an interview with 3FM in Accra, he disclosed that the SLTF is willing to offer between ¢1500 and ¢3000 which suffices for their fees because the average fees for students in KNUST is GHS 2000 for an academic year except for the ‘fee paying’ student
The SLTF was established in December 2005 under the Trustee Incorporation Act 1962, Act 10
