Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin says ecological supportability should be sought after all in all. In such manner, he said good sense would suggest that all Ghanaians should participate in endeavors to shield the planet.
Talking at a concise service to establish trees on the regions of Parliament House, he said in this day and age, “issues of the climate and environmental change have become effective, not on the grounds that they are popular, but, since they are existential issues for man”.
Mr. Bagbin said the House didn’t sit to empower Members to lead the endeavors in their Constituencies because of the significance Parliament joins to the Green Ghana Day.
The Speaker established a profound establishing tree prevalently called the Tree of Life.
The Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor Dompreh established one for the benefit of the First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei Owusu while the Second Deputy Speaker, Andrew Asiamah Amoako planted another.
Different pioneers who planted were Lydia Seyram Alhassan , the Second Deputy Majority Whip, for the benefit of the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu while the First Deputy Minority Whip, Ahmed Ibrahim established one for the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu.
