(VIDEOS): SAAFI ESAASE RESIDENDTS CALL ON GOVERNMENT FOR LIGHT EXTENSION AND WATER.

Assemblyman for saafi esaase electoral area in the eastern region, Hon Daniel Ofosu Apinteng and his people have been facing some challenges when it comes to their lighting system.

The Assemblyman explained that Saafi Esaase has now increased and expanded in numbers and size but electric poles in the area are less as compared to the population so many of the people do not have light and due to that there are rampant robberies in the place. Saafi electoral area needs like thirty (30) poles in addition to what they already have so he is calling on the government and electricity company of Ghana to come to their aid.

Angel news spoke to some of the people of saafi Esaase and they complained bitterly about their lighting system and water challenges, their only source of water is well and it not even safe for their health because the well is not covered and it is also risky for their kids since they also play around the uncovered well and it might lead to something else one day , so they are calling on the government to provide water for them by building boreholes and pipes because they are really suffering.
