President swears in new NCCE Chairperson

President Akufo-Addo says the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) is as yet significant and hence doesn’t agree with ideas that the Commission be abrogated for insufficiency.

The President accepts that the NCCE actually plays a significant part to play in assisting with laying out a culture of mindfulness in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo was talking at the Jubilee House subsequent to swearing into office Mrs. Kathleen Addy as the new Chairperson of the NCCE.

Mrs. Addy replaces Madam Josephine Nkrumah who left her situation to address ECOWAS in Liberia. Mrs. Addy until her arrangement, was the Deputy Chairperson of the NCCE since March 2017.

She swore to lead the Commission to execute its errands as recommended by the Constitution.

Kathleen is a lobbyist with exceptional interest in administration and common liberties.
