Oti Regional Minister Paid Visit to family of Nana Kpebu who was shot last night in Krachi West Municipality [Photos]

The Oti regional minister,Dr. Joshua Makubu has visited the family of Nana Kpebu who was shot last night at his own residence.

He was accompanied by the MCE for Krachi west Municipality,Hon. Emmanuel Kajal Jalula and other security agencies.

He has asked the public to give out any information regarding to the shooting.

The former DCE,Hon. Moses kwame Punye who narrated how they received the news gave thanks to the Regional Minister,MCE and the Security for their help during the shooting.

 

 

 

Background

 

 

The chief of Gyengyen,Nana Atta Kpebu ll has been shot by unknown gunman at his own residence.

 

The incident happened in the late hours of 8pm after the chief has escorted a friend who came to paid him a visit. On his way back home,when he was about entering his room before he was shot.

 

The bullets penetrated and spread around his testicles.

A young man who rushed to the scene to help the chief said, he overhead the chief calling for help when he got there the Nana Kpebu was lying down helpless and rushed him to the hospital with the help of others who came to the scene after hearing the got shot.

He was rushed to the Krachi west municipal hospital but was later refered to the 37 Military hospital for further treatment.

The police and the MCE Hon. Emmanuel Kajal Jalula has visited the scene and the hospital to see how the condition was.

The police has since denied The media confirmation to the story as they are still investigate.
