Naabili Jacob who was affected after many were burnt by a gas cylinder has been put to rest at Naabu in the Nkwanta North District of the Oti region.
The burial Service was witnessed by a cohort of sympathizers from far and near, the Nkwanta North District assembly delegations who came to mourn with the deceased families.

His mother, Tigbini Taabili says, Jacob was very supportive in the family and has him at heart. ” I lost a great son of mine but God knows best”, she said.

She appealed to the DCE to provide the necessary support to Taabili John, the deceased brother who is receiving treatment at the St. Joseph hospital, Nkwanta all involved in the explosion so could comfort herself.

Seven persons were burnt on Saturday, 6th August, 2022 when two met their untimely deaths leaving five in a critical condition.
One out of the two who passed on was buried at Naabu, while the remaining one is yet to be transported from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi to Kpassa for burial while others are receiving treatment at some various hospitals in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale respectively.
The DCE for Nkwanta North, Nawugma Kidignang William, who was at the burial service said the district has seen so many accidents of such nature, but ”this has taken all by shock and can still not believe even though the victim has been put to rest”.
He announced that measures will be instituted in collaboration with Ghana National fire service to institute effective education to avoid similar accuracies.
He advised the residents to run away anytime they hear of explosion and adhere to protocols guiding the use of gas cylinders.
The deceased father, Nwasah Taabili emotionally thank the assembly delegations for the support.
