OTI REGION: CHIEF SHOT BY UNKNOWN ASSAILANTS IN THE KRACHI WEST MUNICIPAL

The chief of Gyengyen,Nana Atta Kpebu ll has been shot by unknown gunman at his own residence in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region.

 

The incident happened in the late hours of Monday, 8pm after the chief has escorted a friend who came to paid him a visit. On his way back home,when he was about entering his room before he was shot.

The bullets penetrated and spread around his testicles.

A young man who rushed to the scene to help the chief said, he overhead the chief calling for help when he got there the Nana Kpebu was lying down helpless and rushed him to the hospital with the help of others who came to the scene after hearing the got shot.

He was rushed to the Krachi west municipal hospital but was later refered to the 37 Military hospital for further treatment.

The police and the MCE Hon. Emmanuel Kajal Jalula has visited the scene and the hospital to see how the condition was.

The police has since denied The media confirmation to the story as they are still investigate.
