One person has been confirmed dead following the collapse of a 3-storey building at Nmai Dzorn, near Ashaley Botwe, in the Greater Accra Region.
The deadly disaster happened on Thursday with rescue operations said to have located the body of the deceased on Friday, May 5.

One other person, who escaped from the rubble, was rushed to the hospital.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), Ghana Police Service and Adentan Municipal Assembly helped in the rescue operation.
The departed was said to have been caught in the rubble until sniffer canines were welcomed nearby by the military to find his body.
Media General’s Richard Brilliant Addo reports that the departed, 40, abandoned a spouse and two kids.
His family were at the scene when his body was recuperated. They have been crying since news broke that he was caught in the rubble.
