O/R: NPP Party Office Locked by angry Supporters in Nkwanta South.

Some members of the New Patriotic Party in the Nkwanta South constituency of the Oti region has this morning besieged and locked up party office over an alleged misappropriation of area coordinators election form.

The group is demanding for fresh nomination, claiming that people who’s names were found in the list were not party members, adding that they will not allow any election process to take place.

The NPP has set an agenda to break the eight-year jinx of being in power they noted this reasons could shutdown the agenda.

Since nomination opened for the polling station elections there have been suspicions and disturbances in some constituencies, as some aspirants accused election committee members of not making the forms available for purchase.

According to the aggrieved supporters,it is against the background that some leading party executives are said to have sidelined the old and new members who applied for the position enable find their names in the election process.

The group on the National Executives and other hierarchy to intervene as it is the party agenda to break the eight in the upcoming 2024 elections.

An attempt to speak to constituency executives failed.
