O/R: NDC primaries; I have no challenger in Krachi West – Adjoa Ntoso

Helen Adjoa Ntoso is seeking re-election in Krachi West

The MP for Krachi West in the Oti Region, Helen Adjoa Ntoso, has disclosed that she will contest in the opposition NDC primary for re-election.

The former Volta Regional minister said this in an interview with Mugabe Maase on Power FM Thursday and stressed that her performance in the area has endeared her to many, especially the youth.

“I will seek re-election; I am going to contest. There is no challenger; I am going with JM because God has not asked me to rest yet,” Madam Ntoso noted. ”

Although some NDC members have picked nomination forms to contest in the upcoming primaries of the party, Adjoa Ntoso believes she is the favorite for representing her people well over the years.

“I have been tried; I’ve been a minister before and tested. These days the youth are serious and they wouldn’t want anyone to cross their path. They are behind me because I have been able to help them get jobs although we are in opposition,” she added.

She said she hopes the NDC wins power in the 2024 general elections and offer her more opportunities to help bring more developments to the Krachi area.

Helen Ntoso was first elected into the 6th Parliament in 2012.

She holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Conflict, Peace and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Centre, a certificate in search and rescue from Singapore Coop, a certificate in mission from Church Army, and women in management middle level from GIMPA.

She also holds a certificate in divinity from Berea Theological Academy, an advanced diploma in education form Lambeth College, U.K and a post-secondary certificate from St Francis Training College.
