NPP promises to reclaim Cape Coast North with a marketable candidate

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) has vowed to reclaim the Cape Coast North seat it lost to the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) in the 2020 polls with a marketable candidate

Constituency Chairman Stephen Kojo Arhin revealed that a  marketable Parliamentary Candidate (PC) will  lead the party in the constituency in 2024 to recapture seat.

Mr. Kojo Arhin who known in politics as Wewebi disclosed this to  media shortly after health walk exercise organized by the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy(TESCON) of NPP executives of Cape Coast Technical University.

The Health walk attracted hundreds of NPP members, both constituency and Central Regional executives as well individual who walked through the Principal streets of Abura and its surrounding to lace their boot ahead to 2024 polls.

“Come what may Cape Coast North NPP will snatch the parliamentary seat in 2024 polls. We are coming out with fresh ideas, fresh strategy and fresh marketable Parliamentary Candidate who can we seat easily for NPP”, the NPP Executive hinted.

He promised to work tirelessly with his executives and the Central Regional executives as well to recapture all their lost seats and presidential victory to help the party break their aim of breaking the 8 years.

On his part, the Chairman of Patrons of Cape Coast North constituency of NPP, Mr. Horace Ekow Ewusi appealed to the constituents not to add political colours to the health walk since sickness does not have party colours.

Mr. Ekow Ewusi, a former Central Regional Vice Chairman and financier of Cape Coast North constituency of NPP promised to donated GHc5,000 each to various TESCON institution within the Constituency including University of Cape Coast(UCC), Cape Coast Technical University(CCTU)and Nurses Training College to help the party recapture seat and break the 8-year or two term cycle.

The Former Member of Parliament(MP) for Cape Coast North constituency in the ticket of NPP, Madam Barbara Asher Ayisi who appears to be eyeing the seat again,  charged her party members to eschew backbiting which according to her is the main challenges facing in the constituency.

“The biggest picture is fighting the opposition NDC and not fighting among us because we can succeed when we are united since 2024 polls will be crucial. Together we stand, divided we fall”. Madam Asher Ayisi stated.
