The NPP Regional Youth Organizer and his team visited the Nkwanta North Constituency in the Oti region.
The visit, according to Prince Amanor (Commander) was a multi-purpose one that focused on acknowledging the efforts and contributions of the Youth in the region most especially the Nkwanta North Constituency in the outcome of his victory.
He further explained the party’s intention to keeping faith with the grassroots by constantly engaging them in such interactions that seek to advance the course of the elephant fraternity in breaking the 8.
“All we need now as a great party is unity, let us eschew the ‘Us-against-them Syndrome’ within the party to bring everybody on board and forge a new and prosperous path for our great party,”
Prince Amanor further congratulated the outgoing constituency executives for their immense contributions to the fortunes of the party, while being hopeful that they would make themselves available to support the new crop.

“The current DCE, I call him the ‘Action Man’ is doing a yeoman’s job leading us into victory come 2024”
“The Party’s faith depends on the youth, if you turn your back on the party, then the party is no more. So please consider it us your property, serve the party well and at the right time you shall be rewarded”
“Very soon, we’ll embark on our parliamentary and presidential primaries, please, the social media campaigners, make sure your candidate is well projected but not to attack each other. We should first unit internally”, he said.
He added that his visit to the constituency wasn’t just to say “Thank you” but to further engage the constituents (Youth) and have them voice out their challenges so the party can devise more resilient ways of addressing those challenges.
Speaking with the constituency and polling station executives, Prince Amanor addressed the numerous reasons that caused them in the 2020 parliamentary results and reiterated the party’s commitment to ensuring the necessary steps are taken in creating vacuum for such accuracies.
“In the last elections, we nearly won some seats in our region but it’s unfortunate, I’m here today to promise and assure you that myself together with our efforts, we shall win those seats in 2024”
The immediate past constituency executives expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Regional Youth Organizer for their thoughtfulness and how impressed they were about the visit. They further applauded him and his team and asked that they continue with the grassroots engagement as it helps them to better address their issues.
The visit also had the Nkwanta South constituency women’s Organizer, Gifty Mpeniasah and her executives explaining to party folks how the Youth will map, strategized and resource the Constituency and polling stations ahead of 2024.
DCE for Nkwanta North, Hon. Nawugma William took time to outline the project President Nana Akuffo-Addo has done in the last one year in the various Communities within the district.
“On national grid, our government is looking forward to providing, Nabu, Kpassa East/west, Gbango Akura and some other communities light, so very soon they’ll join us, health insurance office now at Kpassa, Nyame Nbua health facility and many more, therefore if you’re asked to tell or show what this government is doing in Nkwanta North, tell them what I told you and very soon the president will come and cut sod for the commencement of agenda 111 hospital in Kpassa”.
“Wether we like it or not, we’re going to IMF and if you cannot defend this keep quiet. It’s the best option to stabilize the economy in breaking the 8. This IMF doesn’t change our social intervention programs, in the midst of COVID-19 and Russia/Ukraine war so you should be able to say something”
He encouraged the youth to keep faith, hope and continue to work for the party, urging that, they shall soon become like him or even above.
The people poured out their hearts and indicated their willingness to bring on board a lot more to seal the victory of 2024 for Npp to break the 8.
The team was joined by former women’s Organizer, Faustina Donkor, Former Youth Organizer, Kakiba Solomon, all of the Oti Regional executives and other Electoral Area Coordinators.
