The MCE for Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region Hon Bright Kwame Lenwah has paid a working visit to B-Zongo and Kitare Disani all in the Nkwanta Municipal to familiarize himself with recent happenings relating to insecurity, avoidance of law and order at the area.
He met with the entire community and drummed home the message of peace and unity, he feature explained the need for all residents, being it adults or children to respect the laws of our land.
The MCE cautioned the people to be law abiding, tolerance with one another and avoid taking the law into their own hands. He further explained to them the fact that, they wouldn’t receive the needed development they have been crying or yearning for over decades if there is no peace, unity and law abiding in the area.
He said no government official neither private individuals will be willing to stay there or be sent there for any service if there is a problem of insecurity and violation of the laws of the country.
He advised the youth vividly to desist from violence.
He stated “you are the future MPs, Ministers and MMDCEs as well as the President, so let peace and law abiding be your priority”
“We are one people and we shouldn’t let individuals difference and wants separate us, we need ourselves at every point in time, so let adhere to peace and order my people”,
The MCE as a former teacher and educationist, he took the opportunity to visit the B-Zongo Basic school where the learners were advised to take their studies serious so as to realize their dreams.
The students and tutors were very proud and motivated when they saw the MCE with them.
Not withstanding the Health Center was also visited. He expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the nurses for their hard work and commitment to their services in the community despite the uncertainties, he then encourage them to continue giving off their best even in the midst of some challenges, he said Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the NPP government is working vigorously to put things in order due to the effects of the deadly Covid19 and it implications in the economy.
He also assured them of government’s determination to provide adequate logistics and amenities which will make their work more effective and efficient to achieve the needed results.
