The Ministry of the Interior has released dates for statutory holidays and commemorative days in Ghana this year.
The list however, according to the statement, does not include Eid-Ul-Fittr and Eid-Ul-Adha because the days depend on the sighting of the moon or based on the official declaration by the Office of the Chief Imam.
According to the list, this Saturday, January 7 shall be observed as National Constitution Day.
Again, African Union Day and Republic Day which fall on May 25 and July 1, respectively, are commemorative days which would not be observed as public holidays.
