Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen to visit Nayiri in this festive season

The former Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, who is also the President of the Global Movement of Dr. Mahamud Bawumia, Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has revealed that he will be visiting Bohagu Abdulai Mahami at the Nayiri Palace which is the traditional seat of the Mamprugu Traditional area in the Nalerigu the North East regional capital.

Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen speaking in an Exclusive interview with Okay FM’s Kwame Nkrumah Tikese3 revealed that he has formed an NGO by the Name *Global Movement of Dr. Mahamud Bawumia* which seeks to project the current Vice president to be the next flag bearer of the NPP in the 2024 general elections.

He stressed that he will tour the Nayiri Palace, the Chief of Duori and the Chief of Walewale, Mion, Yendi to visit the Ya-Na of Dagbon, and also to visit the Yagbonwura, the paramount chief of the Gonjas to officially inform them and seek their concerns as custom demands about his intention to present Dr. Bawumia to the NPP as a flag bearer to occupy the presidential seat of Ghana when he is voted into power by Ghanaians in 2024 indicating that he will hit the grounds running with all his campaigns for Dr. Mahamud Bawumia in 2023.

He has revealed that he has decided to visit these palaces during this festive season because he is a practitioner Lawyer and may only get time to undertake these activities to seek the permission of these Chiefs during these holidays since law courts are on break and will resume from January 9th going.
