Jobless NABCO Director cries on live radio, begs gov’t to fix him somewhere

A former Director of The Nation Builders Corps (NaBCO) in the Kwabre East of the Ashanti region has intimated, he needs a job opportunity as he is now jobless since his contract with the agency expired.

He is thus appealing to the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration which he is a member to find a job for him to do as his abilities are wasting away.

Mr. Jones Sarfo Anyamesem who doubles as the Kwabre East Constituency Secretary of the NPP told Ultimate FM morning show host that since he left his teaching job to become a NaBCO Director, all was well until the agency folded up.

He believes it was time for the government to push him to another area to work.

“I am now jobless Caesar, since my NaBCO contract expired last year December, we are yet to be told what is next for us. I am waiting to be fixed somewhere to still serve this country”

“You know I was a teacher, that was my job then, but after NaBCO I am unemployed now. You know things are not easy now globally for everybody, so I am hoping I will get an opportunity somewhere. Now my post is Former Director of NaBCO in Kwabre East”, he lamented on live radio

The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) programme is a government initiative to address graduate unemployment to solve social problems. The focus of the initiative was to be solving public service delivery in health, education, agriculture, technology, governance and drive revenue mobilization and collection.
