Happening Now: Arise Ghana demo turns violent; police fire tear gas as many where injured and arrested.

Police are firing tear gas at Arise Ghana protestors after a disagreement over the route of Tuesday afternoon’s demonstration.

The protestors are reported to have provoked the officers by pelting them with stones.

Meanwhile a clash is currently happening between the police and the Arise Ghana demonstrators. Many of the demonstraters have been arrested while others are injured.

The police are chanting to restore peace as they look forward to returning calm to the demo grounds.

It’s a crazy two hours as the police keeps firing at the demonstrators. 3 police officers are reported injured.
