The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has been tipped to cause a stir and massive shock in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.
He is said to be a grassroots person who has done a lot for the party and his vision so far as a flagbearer is unmatched compared to the others also contesting in the race and for that matter, makes him prime for the NPP job.
The assertion was given by a former Nhyiaeso NPP chairman aspirant Fred Okyere who is convinced Mr. Agyapong will be a better candidate and president for Ghana come 2025.
He made the justification on a Kumasi local radio station monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
“He is moving to the grassroots to engage, he is just a people person. He is expected in Nhyiaeso on the 13th of May, he is doing constituency campaigning telling them what he wants to do for them and the nation, and it should be emulated by the other contenders”
“I can tell you if we want to rate the top three in the NPP race, Kennedy Agyapong will be in there. He is not in to make up the numbers he is in to win. There is no politician who has created jobs in Ghana than Kennedy Agyapong, you can look at the NPP, NDC, CPP, tell me who? Who has created more job opportunities than Ken? he challenged.
