Frimpong Kodua Oust Buadu as General Secretary, Kate Gyamfuah retained as Women’s Organizer

 

The incumbent National Women’s Organizer of the overseeing New Patriotic Party(NPP) Kate Gyamfuah has been reappointed after she won an avalanche triumph.

 

At the races hung on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium, out of the absolute votes cast of 661, Kate Gyamfuah surveyed 620 votes addressing 93.78%, Ellen Ama Daaku accumulated 9 votes addressing 1.36% of votes cast while Hajia Sawudatu Saeed got 32 votes addressing 4.84% of votes cast.

John Boadu got 1,086 votes while Justin Kodua polled 1,606 votes, MyNewsGh.com confirmed.

 

The Electoral Commission is however yet to announce final, official results.

 

John Boadu who earlier appeared too sure of himself ahead of the contest told journalists he would win.

 

He anyway was crushed by Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua who cleared practically all the surveying stations including all the Ashanti Region surveying stations.

 

Temporary outcomes put Justin Kodua in front of John Boadu by in excess of 500 votes.
