For John Mahama’s Sake, Evil Forces Scheme To Disqualify Joana Gyan-Cudjoe

 

As the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) begins its vetting process to find suitable potential candidates to field for the 2024 parliamentary positions, details are emerging about how some elements within their rank-and-file are scheming to have some contenders disqualified.

One of such contenders is the resource-rich Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, the parliamentary aspirants for Amenfi Central in the Western Region.

Joana Gyan-Cudjoe’s only crime is that she has been an ardent loyalist of John Dramani Mahama, 2024 flagbearer hopeful for the NDC to the chagrin of her nemesis.

Leading the onslaught to have Joana disqualified, this paper gathered, is the Western Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nana Kojo Toku, who is alleged to have sent three (3) Amenfi Central Constituency Executives: Constituency Chairman, Secretary and Organizer to find out from the Bantama Constituency Office and the Ashanti Regional NDC party office to find out whether Mrs.Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, had been an active member of the party.

New Crusading GUIDE’s intelligence has it that these elements are hellbent on getting Dr. Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe disqualified on the vetting day, possibly, today.

Part of the ploy is to send emissaries to claim on the vetting day that Joana owed them some monies, and therefore, should not be allowed to contest on the ticket of the NDC with the debt baggage.

“We can say on authority that, the three constituency executives who are on mission to ensure that Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe is disqualified came to the Ashanti Region last Wednesday and are still in the Region doing their  best to find evidence of doubt of Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe,” Ashanti regional party sources told this paper.

The trio party executives in the Amenfi Central Constituency, our checks revealed, travelled all the way from Manso Amenfi to Bantama NDC constituency office to ascertain whether Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe was paying her dues and had a party card of the NDC and has been an active member of the NDC in the Bantama constituency for the past six years.

Upon their arrival at the Bantama constituency, it was revealed that Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe had been an active member and has even been providing financial assistance to women and the needy in the NDC at the Constituency level.

The multi -million question is why would such unthinkable move be embarked upon by constituency executives in Amenfi Central if they have no interest in disqualifying the possible candidate.

Nana Toku who has been tagged as anti-Mahama according to source is using his powers as the Western Regional Chairman of the NDC to disqualify every parliamentary aspirant he suspects to be working for the success of former president John Dramani Mahama as Flagbearer of the NDC for election 2024.

The National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiesu Nketia, has already made it clear that there should be free and fair vetting in every constituency as far as the yet-to- be held parliamentary primaries are concerned.

Mrs. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, the paper learnt has been an active party member of the NDC in Bantama constituency in the Ashanti Region before joining the Amenfi Central Constituency in the Western Region where she comes from.
