ELVIS AFRIYIE-ANKRAH LEADS MAHAMA’S DELEGATION TO THE SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS (SCOAN) 

Former President John Dramani Mahama was officially represented by a delegation at the first memorial anniversary service in honour of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua, held at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria.

 

The former President’s delegation was led by Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah and included two others; Hon. B.T. Baba, MP for Talensi and Mr. George Sika, Aide to former President Mahama. The delegation arrived on 3rd June, 2022 and participated in the Friday Night Prayer Walk, which was a 4km walk and prayer round the lake at the Prayer Mountain (for 3 times). The delegation also participated in the Sunday Thanksgiving Service and took the opportunity to pray for Ghana, the NDC party, Members and Leadership and for the favour of God to help the party secure victory in the December 2024 general elections.

The event was also attended by thousands of followers from diverse nations across the globe. The first memorial anniversary service had the theme: “Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Prophet T. B. Joshua.

 

In delivering the keynote message on behalf of former President John Mahama, Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah conveyed the relevance President Mahama attaches to the late Prophet T.B. Joshua and his teachings. He described the late preacher as a Father, Mentor, holy Prophet and a friend.

Furthermore, President Mahama recounted the tremendous impact made by Prophet T.B. Joshua towards humanity and Ghana as a countryn and added that Christians all over the world owe it as a responsibility to continue to hold high the flame T.B. Joshua has lit, in order that the good works started by the Prophet of God will continue. It is H.E. John Mahama’s sincere and profound prayer that the Good Lord will grant Prophetess Evelyn T.B. Joshua, wife of the late Prophet, a double portion of the anointing to move from strength to strength.

 

In his closing remarks, President Mahama wished Mama Evelyn and the family well in their endeavours and added that they are always welcome to Ghana anytime they desire since it is their second home.

The Congregation was delighted and full of appreciation for the comforting words and kind gesture of President Mahama and his elegant team of representatives ably led by Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Director of Elections of the NDC.
