The District Chief Executive for Nkwanta North Hon. Nawugma William advised his people to also contribute towards the development of the local communities, adding that government alone can’t build houses or put up infrastructures that will beautify the communities.
Speaking at a gathering in the district capital, Mr William expressed his gratitude to the former member of parliament for Nkwanta North, Hon Kwaku Nayan for his massive investment in the capital.
“If God bless you and you can do something to develop your village do not send it to big towns and cities turn your eye to your village”.
He continued by saying that a big town or city was once a village before and it’s only the villagers that can develop it to big town or a city.
The DCE warned members in the Constituency belonging to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to think beyond resources, strategies, massages and infrastructure in breaking the eight (8)but should also consider UNITY and the EIGHT will be broken into pieces.
Mr William continued by saying, NPP lost 2020 elections with the difference of 1,161 votes he as DCE can promise that since he resumed office as DCE he has so far secured about 2,000 vote for NPP.
“Any candidate on the NPP ticket should also fight for some votes to break the eight”, he added.
He advised the new Constituency executives elect to work hard and achieve the purpose and vision of the party. “Don’t think you can do the work alone, consult the old executives for advice and get more experience for the big agenda coming 2024”.
