The Chief Justice of the republic of Ghana, Justice Annin Yeboah has Commissioned District Court at Chinderi in the Nchumuru District of the Oti Region
Speaking at the ceremony, The chief justice, Justice Annin Yeboah indicates that, In a years ago the president of republic promised to construct over 100 court houses with bangalores for districts across the country to ensure the law and order around the various communities, he also commenced the DCE of Nchumuru for the hard working.
He finally appeals to the chiefs and the people in the communities to patronise the court and justly its establishment.
Meanwhile, The Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Joshua Makubu appreciate the Chief Justice for his good work and mentioned on all Court projects ongoing in the region.
Addressing the occasion urged leaders to let their position being remembrance when left office as the Cheif Justice of the Republic has done today for the commissioning of Chinderi Districts Court.
The minister, outlined developmental projects like the Technical and Vocational Institute at Chinderi, the ongoing Agenda 111, One village one Dam and the construction of road networks and now the new District Court as enough to understand that the government has better plans for the people of Krachi Nchumuru and prayed for their constant support to the government.
He advised the people of Krachi Nchumuru to be law abiding and lovers of peace in order not to be caught in the web of the law.
He also advised the people to avoid threats to staff of the court in the discharge of their duties.
The District Chief Executive, Hon.Kwesi Nkrumah Ogyile , was grateful to the president of the republic of Ghana and his government for considering the justice needs of the people of Krachi Nchumuru by building a befitting and modern Court with a well furnished staff bungalow for the magistrate.
The event which attracted prominent dignitaries from the Nchumuru Traditional Council, political leadership, the clergy, Heads of Department, Educational institutions (Nchumurumang SHS and Krachi Nchumuru Technical and Vocational Institute), the security( BNI, Ghana National Fire Service, Police, Ghana Ambulance Service, Prison service and the general public were in full attendance to observe the commissioning of such a beautiful edifice, first of it’s kind in the Krachi Nchumuru District.
The Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Shani Alhassan Shaibu and officials of the Judicial Service of Ghana arrived at Chinderi in the grand commissioning of the Court.
Finally, The chiefs and the people of Nchumuru expressed their profound gratitude to the President and his government for their contribution to established the District Court at Chinderi
According to them, the court will help to ensure law and other in the Community and will create employment for the people of Chinderi and the district.
They pursued the government for more projects in the community.
