Ghanaian football star Mohammed Kudus continued his fine form this season as he scored and assisted in Ajax’s 4-2 victory against SC Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old midfielder was in inspired form as he helped his team cruise to victory at the Abe Lenstra Stadion.
Kudus opened the scoring for Ajax just 10 minutes into the game, and four minutes later, Edson Álvarez doubled the lead after connecting from Kudus’ assist. Steven Bergwijn added the third goal in the 19th minute mark, but Pelle van Amersfoort pulled one back for the home team just before the end of the first half.
In the second half, Kenneth Taylor scored to extend Ajax’s lead, but Sydney van Hooijdonk scored for SC Heerenveen in the 79th minute to make the final score 4-2 in favor of Ajax.
Kudus, who has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 24 appearances for Ajax this season in the Dutch top-flight, was replaced in the 66th minute by Brian Brobbey, another Ghanaian footballer.
