C/R: Woman found dead in container shop at Kasoa

An unidentified woman believed to be in her late 20s has been found dead at Kasoa America Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.

The half-naked body of the deceased was found in a sack in an unused container shop.

According to Assemblyman of the area, Hon. Shadrack Boakye Yiadom, the residents for the past few days had been raising alarm about unpleasant scent emanating from the direction of the container.

Their curiosity pushed them to open the container to find out what might be giving off such foul smell only for them to find the almost decomposing body of the woman in a sack.

It is believed she was killed elsewhere and dumped in the area as she’s not known in the neighborhood.

A report was made to the police who arrived at the crime scene and conveyed the body to the morgue, while investigation commences.
