Breaking News: Ashanti Regional NPP Executive Election Postponed, Venue Changed

 

The Committee for the upcoming Ashanti Regional NPP Executive Election has postponed the election scheduled to take place on this Friday to Saturday, 28th May.

 

According to the Committee Chairperson, Simon Osei Mensah, a section of the candidates objected to the venue which triggered the change.

 

Simon Osei Mensah who confirmed the latest development to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show, monitored by otixpres.com further disclosed that the venue for the election has also been changed from the Regional Coordinating Council to the Heroes Park.

He explained that the album for the election is not ready hence the change of the date.

 

According to the Ashanti Regional Minister, the committee wanted the election to be held on Sunday but the National Sports Authority disallowed a green light.
