Four pregnant candidates sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination in the Krachi west Municipality of the Oti region.
A total number of 864 candidates are writing the Examinations in the Municipal with four out the number pregnant and one nursing mother.
Out the number,485 are males and 379 females.
Municipal has two centres where the students writes the Examinations but one of the centres has been moved to Osramane which allows candidates who travels far distance before having access to the centre now solved.
The centre A cordinator,Mr. Ofori said,aside the issue of pregnancy and a nursing mother,all candidates are available for the first paper which is social studies.
552,276 candidates from 18,501 schools writing this year’s B.E.C.E in 2,023 centres throughout the country.
The environment is well prepared and security personnels from the Ghana police service and the military are all presence at the centre.
The Municipal Education director, Madam Atabra Jacklinda has visited the two centres in the Krachi west municipal
The Municipal Education Communication Officer, Mr. Vincent Fordjour said, the Municipal is adequately prepared and organisation has been very good.
He added that,they hope all will go well with the students.
