Asamoah Gyan Divorce: Court Confirms Gifty Was a Virgin When Couple First ‘Made Love’

A High Court of Ghana, Divorce and Matrimonial Division has confirmed that Asamoah Gyan met his wife a virgin when they first had sex in 2004 that produced their first son.

This revelation Exposes Asamoah Gyan, brother Baffour Gyan and “shamefully” their lawyer who lied in public that Gifty Gyan’s supposed first husband had claimed he is father of their first son.

The court in its judgment noted that when Gifty “first had sexual relations with the Petitioner (Asamoah) in 2004, she was a virgin a fact which establishes that…” there was in fact no consummation between herself and her first “husband” she married for Europe papers.

The court said that Gifty’s contention that she was a virgin when she first had sexual relations with the Asamoah in 2004 was not denied, “thereby leading to an admission of same”.

After the entire process, the court, presided over by Hafisata Ameleboba JA, held that Gifty was entitled to a share in Asamoah Gyan’s property based on her substantial contribution.

The court held that since Gifty has contributed in kind to the acquisition of the properties, by being the one who solely catered for the children and lived with the children whilst the Petitioner [Asamoah Gyan] plied his trade, she was entitled to a share and therefore granted her; a UK property, a gas station at prampram, a 4-bedroom house at Spintex already purchased for her before the marriage in 2013 and two cars.
