A/R: Two officers crippled, one’s jaw broken after school bus ran into police barrier

 

Three Police officers are in critical condition after the Jita school bus with registration number, GN 6920-13 ran into the Kwabenakwa Police Barrier in the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti region.

According to reports, the school bus which had offloaded students from neighbouring communities, ran into the Kwabenakwa police barrier and crushed the police officers after the driver lost control of the steering.

It is reported that his brakes failed him.

The police on duty according to the report were checking a long vehicle which was fully loaded with canoes.

Three police officers were severely injured, one sustained a broken jaw and 2 others were crippled. The bus driver on the other hand was also injured.
